All the World's a Stage

One of the best well-known quotes from the English playwright William Shakespeare is from his play As You Like It:
All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely Players; They have their exits and their entrances…
Those words are a metaphor of living on this planet. Look at life as a stage, with everyone around you playing a part while you play yours. It is a role you came here to play in your diligent and loving effort to increase your Light’s brilliance by living in the physical with authenticity, forgiveness, gratitude and joy.
A theatrical play is an illusion; living on earth is an illusion. With the first breath a newborn takes, the soul enters into the body and enters into a perceptual illusion. If you treat this illusion as your true reality, you may become embittered, fearful, angry, depressed and ill. Your reality is your light, your core, your soul.
I recall being in a high school play and the director saying, “Dig deep down to find this character. It’s in there somewhere.” And that is what you are doing here this lifetime, digging deep to discover who you truly are, by knowing what part of you that is joyful and what part of you is in need of healing, whether from actions of your current life or your past lives. As you edge closer to loving yourself without judgement your light’s glow expands. It’s only an illusion that you, as a light being, cannot create this. That is truth.
