In 1999 the film ‘The 6th sense’ was released. The 8-year-old character Cole had an unusual ability to see ghosts, encapsulated by his now well-known line: “I see dead people.” As I spiritual conduit, I perceive ghosts (see blog Ghosts Around Us), but there’s another gift I humbly possess: communicating with those who have crossed over to the Other Side.

Recently “Jenn” on her morning walk commented on the vibrant 10-foot-tall sunflowers in my yard. As she turned to leave, she asked what I did for a living. When I replied that I was a spiritual conduit who delivers Light Messages from one’s guides and those who had passed, an image appeared behind her.

Sitting in a horse-drawn buggy, was a wiry, red-haired Irish man wearing a white shirt frayed at the collar and sleeves, and washed-out black pants. He told me his name was Matthew and sitting beside him was his son Seth. With great hardship, they had homesteaded the prairie.

Matthew said he had a Light Message for Jenn, who was Seth in that prairie life. I gave Jenn his words: “I’m aware of your thoughts and movements, especially when you’re not at peace with yourself. It’s important that you cease judging yourself as good or bad; on the Other Side we understand there is no good or bad, only learning and spiritual expansion. The best way to do that is to love yourself without judgement, as your Light is loved by all of us.” When Matthew was no longer visible, I turned to Jenn who offered a big smile and said the message made sense and resonated deep in her heart. As she walked away, she added she now understood why her gut feeling urged her stop at the bright sunflowers.
